Against the total vacancies of 71397 in CAPFs & AR, 67597 candidates have already been recommended for selection by the recruitment agencies/boards. The vacancies have arisen out of retirements, resignations, new raising etc, which is a routine administrative process in CAPFs & AR.
(d): Filling up of the vacancies is an ongoing administrative process and prompt and timely action is taken to fill up the same at the earliest. Regular recruitment process is undertaken by the CAPFs and AR through Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Medical Officer Selection Board (MOSB), other Recruitment Boards and Departmental Selection Committees (DSCs) of the respective Forces. Special Recruitment rallies are also conducted wherever and whenever necessary.
(e) & (f): No, Madam. There is no such proposal. Separate Medical cadres already exist in each CAPFs & AR.
