Border Security Force (BSF) claimed to have demolished a naxal camp, killed three naxals and seized explosive in huge quantities during an encounter at Manegaon under Koyalibeda police station limits last evening, BSF sources said.
On a tip-off, a BSF team launched an attack on a naxal camp. Both sides exchanged fire for about two hours. Later, naxals fled into the forest.
From the blood stains found on the spot, it was gauged that at least three naxals had been killed. Naxals took the bodies with them.
A pipe bomb, six guns, detonator, naxal literature and daily-use materials were found on the spot.
