NDFB Militant arraested in Meghalaya

In the early hours of Sunday BSF troops of the 114 Battalion deployed at Tura, arrested one NDFB (R) militant named  Seargent Major Anjima Boro (aged 37 years old) alias Ajit Murong alias Ajit Bodo, Son of Manil Gihlao, Simla under district Udalgiri while he was trying to infiltrate into India near Border Outpost No. 1088/1-S in the area of BOP Baldova. He joined NDFB  in the year 1998 and underwent arms training at Bhutan. Murong was involved in helping NDFB  cadres to cross over Indo Bangladesh International border from Meghalaya in the year 2002 and 2003. Ajit Murong mostly remained stationed at Buxiganj of Jamalpur District in Bangladesh. He was most wanted by Assam police as he remained involved in many killings and bomb blast cases. Ajit Murong has been handed over to the Meghalaya police for further action as per law of the land. He was also involved in damaging on Iron Bridge near Zigzag by blasting IED in 2002.
