IMPHAL March 28: KCP (Maoist) in a press statement by the outfit’s assistant publicity and propaganda secretary hurled several allegations to Lamlai MLA and agriculture minister Phiroijam Parijat.
The release states that Lamlai has become the highest security personnel populated area in the state, police commandos and BSF are posted at seven locations and further Assam Rifles are also posted at Chingarel and New Canan. The gross deployment of security in the area affects the sanctity and the welfare of the public lies in addressing the issue as unwanted crimes may occur due to the heavy presence of security.
The outfit further alleged that the minister is blind to the suffering of the constituency and during his tenure, the PDS system and the education sector have been affected worse of all. The non functioning of Biramngol college is an example,it states. The minister is also in favor of his close workers and relatives and opportunities have been awarded to them only. The minister is organizing a bourgeoisie group and carrying out criminal activities. The outfit warns the involved person to refrain otherwise their names will be made public .
