A Border Security Force (BSF) personnel died of cardiac failure in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir yesterday.
"Deepak Chanda of 76 Battalion BSF D Company, died yesterday while he was on his duty at Basali Post in Keri Sector of Rajouri district along the Line of Control (LoC)," sources here today told UNI.
They said he was shifted to the hospital but declared as brought dead.
''Cardiac failure was the reason behind his death,'' sources said, adding that his body has been taken to his native village in Punjab after conducting postmortem.
