BSF troops deployed in Dhubri district of Assam apprehended two Bangladeshi nationals near a border post while they were trying to infiltrate into India illegally. The apprehended persons, who were identified as Sahadat Hussain and Baharul Islam, both hailing from Arimarichar village, Kurigram district, Bangladesh have been handed to police. "Assam and Meghalaya Frontier of BSF has stepped up extra vigil and intensified operations on the International border to check illegal cross-border movement and trans-border crimes," a BSF official here said.
