Gurudas Kamat Assumes Office as MOS (HOME)

Shri Gurudas Kamat today assumed Office as Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs. He called on the Union Home Minister, Shri P.Chidambaram and later had interaction with senior officers of the Ministry.

Earlier, Shri Kamat was MoS in the Ministry of Telecom and IT. An LLB. and MBA, he is an advocate and agriculturist by profession. He represents Mumbai north-west constituency in the Lok Sabha and was first elected to the Lok Sabha in 1984.
