Benapole, Feb 25 (UNB) - A Bangladeshi cattle trader was injured seriously when beaten up by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Rudrapur border in Sharsha upazila early Friday.
BGB sources said Mijanur Rahman, 30, son of Shukkur Ali of Agrobhulot village, was returning to his home through Rudrapur border when BSF jawans of Indian Tetulbaria camp caught him after a chase.
Then the Indian border guards took him to their camp where they beat and hit him with sharp weapons, leaving him injured.
They later left him at Bangladesh border from where he was rescued by villagers and admitted to Bagachra clinic in critical condition.
