AMRITSAR: Border Security Force (BSF) handed over a man who inadvertently crossed over the border, to Pakistan Rangers, said BSF's Deputy Commandant Shubhendu Bhardwaj on Saturday.
During the current year 16 people who inadvertently crossed over the border have been handed over to Pakistan.
He said that 17-year-old Pakistani national Bilal Khan, resident of Green Town, Lahore had entered into Indian territory from near border outpost Kahangarh. During questioning he was found to be innocent, also nothing objectionable was found from his possession. Shubhendu said that BSF contacted Pakistan Rangers and handed over Bilal Khan to them on humanitarian grounds.
