Jawans escapes attack

Around a dozen Border Security Force (BSF) jawans narrowly escaped safe and sound in a landmine blast triggered by the Maoists in Malkangiri district on early Monday. Police said all the jawans are safe and unhurt by the landmine explosion. According to police a company of BSF is campaigning at Sikpai for the anti-Naxalite operations in the area and the Red rebels had planted the landmine targeting the security forces. The explosion took place at a distance of about 400 meters from the BSF camp.
