From BDNews24 Kushtia, Oct 18 (bdnews24.com) — Members of the Indian Border Security Force have taken five Bangladeshi teenagers away from Daulatpur of Kushtia, a Bangladesh Rifles official says. The teenagers are 'Faruk', 'Tareq', 'Ghetu', 'Faruk (2)' and 'Sumon'. They are residents of Bhangapara village of Ramkrishnapur Union under Daulatpur, BDR commander of Pragpur, Julfiker Ali told bdnews24.com on Monday. Ali said, "Even after a flag meeting with the BSF to settle the issue, they did not release the teenagers." Locals said Udaynagar BSF personnel took the teenagers around 6:30 am while they were cutting grasses near pillar – 153 along Daulatpur border. Ramkrishnapur Union Parishad chairman Kudrat-e-Khuda said tension was prevailing in the area. |
