While talking to IBNS the father of the slain youth, Farooq Ahmed said that he is satisfied the way BSF officers are conducting the proceedings.
The incident had occurred at Brene Nishat in Kashmir.
"They are recording the statements in a proper manner and are giving no room to accused personnel to prevail upon the witnesses." Farooq Ahmed said.
Teenager Zahid Farooq from Brene Nishat was allegedly shot dead by BSF personnel near Nishat on the banks of the Dal Lake early last year while he was heading towards his home with his friends.
The commandant of the 68 BSF, RK Birdi and constable Lakhvinder Singh have been accused of the killing and are right now in BSF custody.
The police had booked the duo under sections 307, 320, 120B and 201 of the Ranbir Penal Code, charging them of having opened unprovoked fire on the boy leading to his death.
The police charge sheet says that no law and order problem had existed at the time of the incident, and that the victim had been shot when walking with his friends.
The BSF Court last weak had recorded the statements of all 9 witnesses.

To record the statements of the witnesses in the Zahid Farooq murder case in Jammu & Kashmir, the Border Security Forces (BSF) Court here on Tuesday called several doctors and officials and enquired about the incident.
Those who appeared before the court included, Dr Ruby Reshi, Dr Bilal, Dr Kaunsar and a dotor from police headquarters.
