March 21, 2011
Jodhpur: A special CBI court on Friday sentenced two men to three years jail term for practicing fraudulent measures in the entrance exams for sub-inspectors in Border Security Forces (BSF).
Additional Chief Magistrate Jagdish Jani awarded three years of jail term to Ganeshdaan and Vasudev on Friday. Vasudev had written the applied for and cleared the entrance examination for sub inspector’s post in the false name of Ganeshdas.

Ganesgdaan wanted to apply for the post of Sub-Inspector in BSF in 2003, but was aware of the fact that he did not have a good command over English. So, he convinced his friend Vasudev to write the examination on a fraudulent name Ganeshdaan.
The two men sat nearby at the centre as their names were similar. After writing the paper, the answer-sheets were exchanged. Ganeshdaan was selected in the exam and secured a post of Sub-Inspector at BSF.
