United News Of India Palanpur, Sept 28: A 13-year-old boy from Pakistan, who crossed the Indo-Pak border, was caught by the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Patan district of Gujarat. Savaji Rawata Meghwal crossed the Indo-Pak border and was caught by the BSF men from pillar No 978 in Santalpur taluka of Patan district last Saturday when he was going to meet his maternal uncle, living in Shivanagar colony in Tharad, a border town in Banaskantha, police said. ''He has five maternal uncles including Bhuramal Harji (65) and four others. In 2007 his uncle, who is a retired teacher, had visited his village Kavva, situated in Nagar Parkar Taluka of Tharparkar district of Pakistan,'' police added. Superintendent of Police Patan Anupam Singh Gehlot said ''the boy is a minor but we have to go by the law of the land and action will be taken as per the rules''. |
