BSF sends children on Bharat Darshan

Srinagar, Jan 24: Border Security Forces on Monday sent a batch of Kashmiri students from far flung areas on a Bharat Darshan tour from here.
R S Chib, minister for Minister for Medical Education, Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports of flagged-off the contingent at STC BSF Camp Humhama and Baljit Singh, Inspector General, BSF Kashmir Frontier was the gust of honor.

Twenty Kashmiri boys selected from varied and remote areas of Kashmir Valley, during their Bharat Darshan Tour will be visiting Kolkata, Sunderban, Delhi and Agra, besides interacting with the high dignitaries.

“Border Security Force sent these Kashmiri students to Bharat Darshan Tour with the aim to acquaint the children with varied culture and ethos of our country,” BSF said in a press statement adding,

“It will afford these students a chance to broaden their horizon and make them aware of the opportunities awaiting them in the country. The tour would help in motivating the students to develop an adventurous spirit and aim higher in life.”
